Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
He had a zombie game on that list in the link. He's ready to go gunning now.

Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
Looks as if his gaming is more than an obsession. Yikes, think of the money he's burned through.
|
Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
Sounds like he finally figured out life is the ultimate game.
|
Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
Or the money he avoided burning through by staying at home and playing video games.
Seriously though, isn't a shotgun generally more useful than a rifle? |
Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
R, I meant the money he spent BUYING all those games. Did you see the list? Wowsers.

(1) got interested in owning a house since the housing market only goes up so he took out a mortgage on a house a couple years ago that he's now upside down on, or (2) got interested in the stock market and got a brokerage account bought on margin and got royally screwed, or (3) spent time and money dating, got hitched now is paying for a messy and costly contested divorce. ------------------------------------- I play video games (and have done (2) and (3) and own a house that I'm not technically upside down on, but I would have been far happier without it). Sometimes blowing your money and time on ****load of video games might just be better than some of the more "constructive" alternatives, no? :553: |

I guess I was thinking how many preps or PMs he could have instead. But your points are valid.

Just a note, the only games on there that he paid for is the first list. The second one, the ROMs, are free. The first list would have run him around 1800 bucks at 50 bucks a game. |

That could have bought 5 acres, a crude bug out shack, and a few guns + other preps. |
Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
This goes to show that Guns are money.:10_1_20:

Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
The games that are listed as 'Roms' are semi-legal (not really) copies that are stored within the Hard Drive on the XBOX. He did -not- pay for them.
They are openly downloaded on teh internet every day. I.E. this is like buying someones MP3 player with the previous owners music still on it... They probably didnt pay for the music, and you know for sure you didnt. |

Guns are just another tool, like a pair of pliers. Owned them and used them all my life that way. Dealing is a different trip. scyth |

i see that, but the ROMs are free, the games for the NES/SNES that he has there, you download those off the internet. So he didn't spend anything for those. ROMs are similar to Napster back in the day, you look em up, download em and then get the program to play em. No cost to you. P.S. I give your wife props... I couldn't sit there and count em all myself. :confused_ma: |
Re: He finally woke up and decided he needed a rifle...............
The xbox is modded, which means he likely didn't pay for any of them. Once it is modded you can download games and play them from the harddrive - which is what it sounds like he did.
